We provide heat treatment that meets the ISPM-15 standard, so your shipments clear customs without delays, rejections, or costly holds.

Your wooden packaging is heated to a regulated core temperature that eliminates pests and organisms in raw timber, which is the standard accepted by most importing countries worldwide. Once treated, every piece receives the official ISPM-15 stamp, ready for customs inspection.

We treat both new and existing packaging, so there’s no need to purchase new crates or pallets just to get compliant.

If you’re also ordering crates or packing services from us, heat treatment can be bundled into the same order and one invoice.

Every treated piece is stamped with our registered IPPC mark — the symbol customs inspectors look for at the border. Without it, a shipment can be stopped, returned, or destroyed at the shipper’s cost.

We heat treat the wooden packaging to the temperature and duration required under the ISPM-15 standard, ensuring full compliance throughout the material — not just the surface.

ISPM-15 mark is applied

Once treatment is confirmed, the official ISPM-15 mark is stamped onto the packaging. This mark is what your freight forwarder, shipping line, and destination customs will check.

Which countries require ISPM-15 treatment?

Most major trading nations require it, including countries across Europe, North America, Australia, China, and many others. If you’re exporting internationally and using wooden packaging, it’s almost always required. When in doubt, check with your freight forwarder or the destination country’s customs authority.

What's the difference between heat treatment and fumigation?

Heat treatment (HT) uses regulated heat to eliminate pests inside the wood. Fumigation (MB) uses methyl bromide gas. Heat treatment is the more widely accepted and environmentally preferred method — methyl bromide is being phased out in many countries. We’ll advise on what’s accepted at your destination.

Can I bring in packaging I bought elsewhere?

Yes. You don’t need to purchase packaging from us to use our heat treatment service. Bring in whatever needs treating and we’ll handle it.
